The official synopsis is short and sharp: she’s a vampire who plays with men, feeds, and discards them. He’s a guy doing a stranger a favour. Neither of them knows he’s the one thing she wants, and the one thing she won’t let herself take.

That’s the whole hook, and it’s a good one. Most Candy Shorts premises are about someone giving in. This one is built on a woman who never holds back, suddenly holding back. She has a routine: seduce, feed, move on. He is not part of a routine. He walks in doing a stranger a kindness, which is about the least predatory entrance you can make, and that is presumably what throws her.

The tension the series sells is self-denial. She wants him, she could take him, and she won’t. If you like slow-burn setups where the payoff is the moment someone finally cracks, this is that shape. The synopsis doesn’t name anyone. There are two leads:

• The vampire: a seductress who treats men as food and toys, then throws them away. Dominant, experienced, in control, until one man makes her nervous.
